Ready. Set. Record!

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Planning Date Labels Demystified
What is your first reaction when you see an item that is past its "Best By" date? Where do you think this reaction comes from?

My first reaction is to toss it.  I usually don’t toss it out until I do the smell and taste test.  A majority of the time the food is still edible beyond the best by date.  It is a good indicator of learning to buy the right amount of food.
