    Hi everyone, Happy November! I hope everyone had a spooky and fun Halloween! This holiday tends to have a lot of waste associated with it, but one cool tip to avoid food waste is to compost your carved pumpkin! In San Diego, there will be two drop-off locations for pumpkin composting today until 6 p.m. See below image for details and locations....

    Today we had an event with catering and although some participants did not show up, instead of wasting the leftovers, the boxed lunches were donated to other faculty members. Diversion!
